Inspiring Hope. Building New Lives.
The United States of America is a country of immigrants who take pride in giving hard working, determined people a fair chance to succeed and become assets to the community. But the citizenship process can be overwhelming, especially for those with limited resources or education.
If you are seeking to become a U.S. citizen, MCOHA’s Center for Citizenship and Legal Immigration can help.
We can help you understand your rights under the law and, if you are qualified, we can help you through the immigration process in a caring and effective manner.
CCLI’s team works under the supervision of a licensed attorney and includes paralegals and administrative assistants. Our services include:
- Immigration Consultations
- Citizenship/Naturalization Applications
- Family Petitions, Support for Refugees
- Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
- Support for those Seeking Asylum
- Assistance for Unaccompanied Minors
- Assistance for Victims of Violent Crimes, including Domestic Violence
Since opening its doors in August 2014 the Center has provided low-cost legal services to hundreds of foreign born residents eager to become US citizens, thereby improving the economic and social well-being of our entire community!
